Downtown Vallejo

On Saturday, August 21 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. the Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum will hold a closing reception for its current exhibit, “We Got It! The Unlikely Story of Vallejo’s Premier Attraction.” The exhibit tells the story of the move of Marine World/Africa USA from Redwood City to Vallejo and the many changes at the Park over the past 35 yearsit has been in our community.
The Museum collaborated with the Park to assemble a large collection of photos and artifacts that illustrate the evolution of the popular attraction during its time in Vallejo – from Marine World/Africa USA to today’s Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
