GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity that is taking place today, May 5, 2020 – in addition to the regularly scheduled Dec 1, 2020 #GivingTuesday – as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. Help ensure that our beautiful historic Theater in Vallejo is able to reopen when restrictions are lifted.
Your Empress Theatre serves as a vibrant cultural community asset – one that is shaped by Vallejo, whose offerings and whose vision for the future is designed for Vallejo and the surrounding communities. For example, some of our recent community programs have included:
· Three Tenors! – The Next Generation with the Vallejo Festival Orchestra under the direction of Grammy award-winning conductor Thomas Conlin
· Legendary percussionist Pete Escovedo and his Latin Jazz Ensemble
· Golden Dragon Acrobats with their amazing feats of athleticism, and daring heart- stopping stunts
