We are staying in the Community we Love
Dear art community, friends, and supporters,
We would like to thank you first and foremost for your continued love and support for the Artiszen Cultural Arts Center in our awesome Downtown Vallejo! Four years ago, 11-11-13, we had our first event called Gallery 11:11 and it’s been a wonderful ride since then! We have watched our beautiful little neighborhood grow, change, and blossom into a super cool downtown with beautiful art galleries, live music, theater, film productions, public art, endless festivals/waterfront events and even our very own hometown pharmacy…how cool is that!?
With all this progression, there is bound to be changes that might make our little close-knit community feel different, but we really want to be here for the community despite those changes. We here at Artiszen know that the word is out that our building has been sold and that might be affecting our moving forward in the future, but for now we will remain open. We are in the process of bringing on new partners so that we can hopefully remain in the community we love so much. Since our current business model is not sustaining us anymore, we will be taking the next few months to restructure how we will be moving forward and will definitely be calling on our community for some much-needed support.
We will remain open for our regular hours Wed-Fri 11-5, Vallejo 2nd Friday Artwalk 5-10pm, and Sat 11-2 during Farmers Market. We are most definitely available for Rentals, Photography Studio Rentals, and don’t forget our LIVE Theater Productions by On the Fringe Visual and Performing Arts. Thank you each and everyone of you for taking this ride with us and always being such an integral part of the “Art of Community” at Artiszen Cultural Arts Center!
