SOUNDS OF VALLEJO AT THE EMPRESS THEATER
Here’s how you can engage with the Empress Theater and the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation during the shelter-in-place restrictions:
VCAF and the Empress Theater announce a competition!
Rules:
There are two categories in which to enter
1. Submit a video recording of yourself and/or your household lip-syncing and/or dancing to one of your favorite songs. Videos should be between 60 and 90 seconds in duration, submitted to by May 30. Homemade costumes, props, and scenery are encouraged.
2. A video recording of yourself and/or your household singing a popular song to a prerecorded backing track between 60 and 90 seconds in duration, submitted to by May 30. Homemade costumes, props, and scenery are encouraged.
Judges for the competition will be selected by the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation. The winner in each category will receive a pair of tickets to five Empress Theatre events of your choice (ten tickets total).
