Each spring, the U.S. House of Representatives sponsors a nationwide high school arts competition. The Congressional Art Competition is an opportunity to recognize and encourage artistic talent across the country and in our Congressional District. The grand prize winner will have their work displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year, alongside the winning artwork from other Congressional districts.
I encourage all high school students residing in California’s 8th Congressional District to submit their original artwork. The deadline for submission is Friday, April 19th, at 5 PM PST.
