The Vallejo Community Transportation Interactive Expo will be at the North Vallejo Community Center on Thursday, October 24th. The event is from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm; registration begins at 3:00 pm.
The Transportation Expo is hosted by the Solano Transportation Authority (STA) in partnership with the City of Vallejo and Solano County Transit (SolTrans). Vallejo residents are invited to attend and vote on transportation projects to prioritize funding. The Expo follows extensive community outreach, including comments from a Transportation Forum held in July and shared at a half dozen focus groups, and hundreds of community surveys received. At the Transportation Expo, information will be shared on upcoming Vallejo transportation projects and then voting will begin. Presentations and voting will be held from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The Expo will remain open for voting until 6:00 pm.
Projects presented at the October 24th expo will support community identified transportation challenges. In addition, a Vallejo Community Based Transportation Plan (CBTP) will be prepared to address further improvements.
Residents are encouraged to work together to improve mobility for Vallejo residents by:
- Attending the Vallejo Expo.
- Encouraging other Vallejo residents to attend the Transportation Expo or vote by November 4th.
