SOUNDS OF VALLEJO AT THE EMPRESS THEATER
Here’s how you can engage with the Empress Theater and the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation during the shelter-in-place restrictions:
VCAF and the Empress Theater announce a competition!
Rules:
There are two categories in which to enter
1. Submit a video recording of yourself and/or your household lip-syncing and/or dancing to one of your favorite songs. Videos should be between 60 and 90 seconds in duration, submitted to contact@empresstheatre.org by May 30. Homemade costumes, props, and scenery are encouraged.
2. A video recording of yourself and/or your household singing a popular song to a prerecorded backing track between 60 and 90 seconds in duration, submitted to contact@empresstheatre.og by May 30. Homemade costumes, props, and scenery are encouraged.
Judges for the competition will be selected by the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation. The winner in each category will receive a pair of tickets to five Empress Theatre events of your choice (ten tickets total).
