The Ferlinghetti exhibition includes $650,000 of his work, along with live music. The grand opening will take place on May 28th with the famous Beat Museum on Wheels and other live music, film and poetry events. The Empress Theatre and the Temple Art Lofts will also be hosting a variety of unique events from the Beat Generation; in addition, San Francisco’s famous Poet Laurette, Tongo, and other local writers will be reading poetry at the Empress Lounge. This month long event will also include Obtainium Works.
